how can i show proof of landing funds on Toronto Airport. i am going from Lahore. do i make dd or bank statement?in how many days the dd is cashed after opening account? can i open bank account in Toronto from Lahore?

You might be having scotiabank in lahore. You can open account through them or being all cash or get travellers check.

I heard that traveller cheque is not acceptable as proof of landing funds.

DD is cashed immediately at HSBC Canada.
