Help me here please !

Previously my wife was working as a teacher for 10 years. recently (Since November) she was on short term disability for health reasons and she is getting paid by her union. she only get pay slips from the union.

she also have Notice of Assessment for 2014 tax year over $70,000 k

Will this be enough to prove employment?

Many Thanks

Sam

Yes, that's fine. The application requires an Option C, not a Notice of Assessment. She will need to request one from CRA; make sure she requests the 2014 Option C, as one from 2015 is not yet available.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the information. I just got a week before my visitor visa expire. Can I submit the Option C later (as soon as I receive it from CRA) and submit the Notice of Assessment and payslips for now with the application?

Kind Regards

Why don't you just apply to extend your visitor status? What country are you from?

You can send the app without the Option C. Make sure to include a letter explaining that you have requested it and will forward it on when it arrives.

Thanks again

I have already extended my stay twice. once as a student for 6 months, and after that as a visitor. I only got one month visitor extension which is about to expire next week. I came to Canada as a student by end of 2014 , I got married before my second study permit expire. as my wife is pregnant and got some health reason, I don't like to take a risk of leaving her. My plan is to apply for PR and an Open work permit while I'm maintaining my legal status in Canada

If you applied for another extension stating that you were applying for sponsorship, showed proof such as the fee receipt and showed proof of funds, you would most likely be granted another extension.

Or should I apply for PR + an open work permit without option C. CRA said option C will be here in a week and I can send it couple of days after submitting the application.

It's your decision.

What kind of risk associated with that in your opinion?
There isn't really any risk in submitting the app without the Option C.
