Proof of income during landing interview

I am not employed. Can we just take the pay stubs of my husband who is the principal applicant? Can his pr be rejected at the landing interview because of this? Have you read about any such case?

But i have been asked to bring employment letter in landing interview along with other docs like passport, photos, fee receipt, marriage certificate original and residence proof.

I've been asked to bring that too, but I've heard they don't ask for them. My landing interview is September 26th In London.
