Yes there is, it's called a letter of explanation. You can also attach proof of the liquidated fund. That's what we did.
Hi dr jose, if canada states for example 13000 as POF then does it include flight ticket expenditures too? or 13000 after landing

No, ticket expenditures aren't inclusive. You should have your proof of funds when you land in Canada.

Hello,

For proof of funds, what type of letter do we need from the bank? What should I request them for?
I cannot visit the branch as I am not in the country.

Also, I do not have much amount in savings account, all the amount is in FDs, is that fine or I need to break the FDs?

Hello all,
I have a question regarding Proof of Funds. In the express entry profile, I put $24.000 as POF which was above the required amount ($23.500) for a family of 4 at the time of the application and E-APR. On the other hand, my supporting financial documents that I have sent were already above $25,000.

Now that the POF increased up to $24,083 in 2020, and I can not change my E-APR profile, do I need to send a webform stating this and increasing this amount to, for instance, $25.000. I am just worried that I may fail in the eligibility stage due to not meeting minimum funds in the EE profile.

Your comments are very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Hi,
What did you exactly do, as did you send fresh POF through web forum?

I am also in the same boat, as revised POF is updated in July 2021 on IRCC website.

Please help.

Guys can someone please clarify my doubt, if my family is not accompanying me do I have to show proof of funds for them also or for me only?

Hi,

I am getting some money from my father who is in India and I am in Canada.
The problem is that since I am in Canada i cannot sign the Notarised Gift Deed. Is it going to be a problem?
