Hi everyone,

I have the reqd amount in my bank a/c to show as POF but I am bit puzzled about the $5000 education loan that I took as financial support.

should I be worried about that? Does the visa officer subtract the loan amount from the balance or make any such adjustments?

unless the loan was acquired specifically for the purpose of POF, generally speaking loans don't have a negative impact but it is advisable that your POF even after subtracting the loan should be higher than minimum threshold.

I am recently deputed to Canada on work permit. I am expecting the ITA by July '19. How should I be showing POF from my Indian (HDFC). Has anyone gone through similar situation?
