Proof of Funds

I applied for Permanent Immigration & so far submitted all the requirements including medical & landing fee. Now i am awaited for the response. I have followiong questions:

1) Unfortunately i showed less proof of funds of CAD 150 against the requirment listed on website. Will I get visa even if i show less funds (CAD 150) on my bank statment?

2) Will the consulate consider my proof of funds based on the exchange rate of the day on which bank statement was made or they calculate as per todays exchange rate?

In your case you have to proove sufficiant fund that is very importent, for the funds applicants are prooving more fund than what is requried by CIC but in your case you have shown even less than what was asked for. so you can send one more stament to CIC

You will have to prove your sound financial position for immigration

exchange rate will be based on current exchange rate and not the rate on the date you made that statement. On the issue of fund if you have a support of family in canada you may not have problem but to be on the save side you can make another statement with required amount and send it to them before final decision is made.
