Simple question:

Applying for Express Entry profile, asked for Proof of Funds.

I am currently on a Post Graduate Work Permit, working a full time job (Same job I will be using for my application). It does not qualify as a valid job offer (No LMIA), do I still need to show proof of funds?

Yes assuming you're not eligible under the CEC program yet.

Eligible according to points? So if I'm eligible by points and get an ITA, I won't need to show proof?

Thanks for your reply.

No. This has nothing to do with your points but whether you meet the eligibility criteria for one of the immigration programs.

If you're eligible under the CEC program you don't have to show POF.

If you're eligible under the FSW program you'll have to show POF.

Thanks for your reply.

But in order to be deemed eligible for CEC, I will have to make a profile, and to do that, I'll still have to answer this Proof of Funds question. Is that the case?

You can say "0" for the POF funds question if you already know you're eligible under the CEC program.

Please check the requirements for the CEC program.
