Proof of funds

Hi,

I have a query regarding proof of funds.

Me & my wife will be applying for PR. I will be the first applicant & she will be my 'accompanying spouse'.

However I will fly to Canada first and she will travel after 2-3 months.

1. So for POF, what is the minimum amount ? Is it $15,312 or $12,300 ?
2. Does it need to be in my single account or can be in our Joint account ?

I was told that if my wife flies after 2-3 months, then the entire amount needs to be in your single account. Is that true ?

2. Does it need to be in my single account or can be in our Joint account ? not necessary, it can be in multiple accounts but has to be either your or yours spouse accounts.

I was told that if my wife flies after 2-3 months, then the entire amount needs to be in your single account. Is that true ? not true
