Do we require to provide transaction list for past 6 months or just a bank statement with bank account number and name and amount is good enough ?

some banks do not include all the information CIC requests on the letter, for instance, monthly average balance. so to be on the safe side, you can include a six months statement, so that whatever information is lacking on the letter, they can extract it from the statement, just make sure u explain any large deposits or debts

It says you need to show average balance for 6 months. I am not sure what that is supposed to mean.

I just got mine for the last one year just now but they are not sure what average balance is. Also My dad gave me around 8000$ in my account in two different transactions. Will that be an issue ?

Can you please explain

Yes, this transaction definitely needs an explanation to the CIC. There are so many threads that explain, so please read them. In a nutshell, you might have to get an affidavit made to show that this is a Gift from your father, a gift that doesn't need repayment. You might need to show your fathers bank statement also as proof.

As I said, please read other threads.

Proof of funds here's what I have :

I am the only applicant in my case. here's what I have fetched for proof of funds till now :

1. - balance certificate

-> It has Bank logo, address and phone no
-> Title : Balance Certificate
-> Text goes as " This is to certify that Mr Dhaval Anilkumar Desai is maintaining a savings bank account No : xxxxxxx with us. Mr Dhaval Anilkumar Desai has a credit balance as on 23.09.2015 for Rs xxxxx with us. This certificate is issued at specific written request of Mr Dhaval Anilkumar Desai.
-> Sealed by bank logo and branch manager's sign and his stamp.

2. transaction record ( Customer Account Ledger Report )
-> starting from 01-april-2014 till 01-10-2015
-> Lists Account Number
-> My name and account type
-> Missing average 6 months balance (i don't understand what is that) . Can anyone please explain

Am I missing anything else here ?
