Hi,

I understand this questions has been asked before, and I have read some about it, but I wanted to ask if a family of two are landing and carry the minimum requirement of approximately $15000, do they need to be declared if each member of the family carries $7500 ?
I know more than $10000 need to be declared, but is this per person or per family?

Thank you!

whats the issue with the principal applicant having all the amount and declaring it? shouldn't be an issue with declaring it also..i'm just questioning why you triggered the split - while having the whole amount isn't a problem anyway?!

thank you for the replies guys! Appreciate it.

emamabd, not an issue really. I just wondered what is the common practise.

Thank you all again.
