Proof of Funds!!! Urgent

Hi,

Do I need to prove from where I got the funds. I am student in USA and my mother has been transfering the money but to meet the criteria my bf offered to transfer the remaining amount in my account . Would that be a problem . Do I need to give an explanation regarding that. And also from when I need to have funds in my account . I am yet to apply for the pool

This could be a problem. Since they are providing funds, you will need a gift geed from each of them stating that they do not expect the money to be returned/repaid. The rule of thumb seems to be to have the funds in your account for 6 months. Although, if there are large dump-ins (say from your mom or boyfriend) that are explained in a letter of explanation and evidenced by the gift deeds, CIC won't pay attention to the 6 month average of your account.
