Proof of Funds under CEC but outside Canada

Hi Experts,

I have read few forum discussions that candidates under CEC stream not required to show proof of funds, is that correct??

I received PT notification and preparing documents for Ontario PNP.. while looking into settlement funds discussion I came across this point... I have 4.5 years of Ontario experience between Jan-2011 to Apr-2015.. but presently working in INDIA.. and I would like apply under CEC program... Do I have to submit proof of funds in my case? please guide...

I think you need to be in Canada to be eligible for CEC. I don't know much about this stream so hear other opinions.

And also one more thing.. my EE profile states Im eligible for both FSW and CEC... Do I have to be in Canada to apply through CEC.. please help..

No. As long as you are eligible for both, you can chose to apply in whatever category you like to submit your app for oinp.
