Proof of funds - Unaccompanying spouse

Please help me.

I received ITA and now I have an issue on proof of funds. We have a joint account in which our salaries go through and then my husband transfers monthly amounts to a savings account (under his name only) and now we don't know how to present these funds.Should he give me a check or he makes a transfer to my account and write a letter confirming availability of these funds to me and kids? He will not go with us.
