Hi All,

I would like to ask if there is any problem with the way I plan to show the financial stability for my study permit.

I plan to show around 20,000$ as the funds. However, almost all of them will be transferred in the next 1 month and then I would be filing my application in the subsequent 1-2 months.

1. I would be showing a sale of a car to support 8-9k $.
2. The rest of the funds will be transferred by my wife to my bank account. Since we together have some savings in an account that is currently in her name (She is a Doctor by profession, not a housewife). I will have the funds moved to my account to consolidate together and ensure the easy availability of the funds to me in times of need.

Considering the sudden spike of funds in my account, would that be an issue? (Although I can easily prove all of the above with legal documents when and where ever needed)?

Thanks for the help and support in this regards

I'd suggest you show her statements, get a letter from her that she will support you. That's a strong point on your side.
Works as ties to home country + since her employment is ongoing, she can support you till whatever time you're in Canada. It's good to show continuing flow of funds if needed.

I did the same, showed my brothers statements+his employment history.

Hi!

I am re-applying after my first refusal for insufficient funds and personal assets but now I have paid 1 year tuition, have more than 35000+ CAD (17000 2nd year tuition and remaining as living expenses) along with my dependent spouse (applying for owp). Also have an affidavit from my parents to show i'm the heir and nominee to their 120k CAD worth of property in India and they would support me financially if need arises on a notarized affidavit. Also have husband's parents' property to which he is the heir and nominee. Do you think this is enough to prove funds and personal assets + home ties to my country?

PS: my first application I applied saying I will return to KSA (i'm an Indian citizen) where my husband will continue to work but they refused my application citing I won't return as my husband's job will be saudized in the future. So I changed my plan and have decided I will re apply saying after studies will return back to India.

Do you think this will work?

Just a quick question, did you get GCMS notes?

Yes I did! The reasons were what I stated above.
instability in Saudi Arabia so no intent to return. I showed less proof of funds before so they claimed that because employment is not permanent in the future, will run out of funds. Also claimed I’m more qualified than the course I want to do but in reality the post graduate course I opted for requires a bachelor degree and I have just that.
Can you advise on how to make the best changes for an approval!!

Did you write a SOP? LOE?

When I had applied I mentioned all the reasons to why I chose my program, and why Canada.
You already have a Bachelors, so VO might think you should go for a Masters. How long have you been in KSA?

Now with regards to the property part you mentioned, it's not liquid funds, neither is it in your name.
Your best chance, apply alone. Your ties would be your spouse. Does your spouse work?
Showing a continous flow of income is the key when someone is supporting you.
I wish you the best !

I did write an SOP!! I have paid my first year fees along with 37k more to show!! Which includes my first year fee and a year’s expense + excess!! Also the property is just to show home ties to our home country given in the first SOP I totally didn’t mention anything about my home country and was so fixated on mentioning Saudi Arabia and my life here. Have been here for only 3 years and applying alone isn’t something I want to do.
In my new SOP I’m fixated on first explaining why this course because actually my previous studies is not as extensive as this course with relation to the career I’m showing I wish to pursue.
Second explaining to them I do have enough funds as mentioned on the IRCC website (saw people write and quote their own rules to them, telling them how I did do my research and my profile meets the pre requisites of being eligible)
Third mentioning about my widowed mother in law and my husband being the only son and they have assets (property) he needs to take care of. Btw I did get it written on an affidavit that my parents will support me financially if ever need arises.
I actually saw SOPs of students who got the visa, they got these legal documents and it worked.
How does this sound?
thanks for your reply
