Hello,
I have approx. 5k USD as an average amount over a period of last one year and I am doing PR for my family of 3.
Per CIC's website their numbers are 17,011 CDN.-.
What is the best route I should take:
1. Temporarily borrow money from friend.
2. Wait until next year and re-apply.
3. Create a Gold evaluation certificate in India which can easily cross the 17K CDN figure mark.
4. Add a Demat account statement

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Borrow and deposit in some saving account.Take a bank certificate(not statement) as on particular date and submit.

Withdraw the funds later. But u have to show funds later on whenever they ask with minimum 6 months statement.

This is temporary solution

You need cash in bank, so borrow money and deposit it to your savings and ask the bank to give you a bank certificate certifying that you have $17k+

You can withdraw it afterwards and return it to your friend. Although I believe once everything is completed, you have to show that you indeed have $17k+ with you when you arrive in Canada*

*can someone comfirm this please?

Yes

How can I show EPF as proof??? I can't generate online account statement since data is not available for my account....
Can I show joining letter as a proof since EPF amount is mentioned there???
