Proof of funds Question!

Dear all,
I'm in the process of organizing my application for skilled worker category. As i curently do not have enough funds, i'm planning to take a loan from a bank and deposit it in my personal bank account. I will then get a balance statment from my bank proving the presence of enough funds. Is this a good idea? Will they do any background checks to make sure i didn't take any loans from any bank? please help.

I am also in similar situation.

I have a very basic query about application for Skilled category. I hope you will guide me.

As I have my wife and three kids to apply with me and I need to show arround 17000€. My question is, Do I need to have all this money in the bank before I file an application or can I file application now ( by having arround 7000 €) and show (remaining amount) while they will call me for interview? I am in hesitation to apply as I do not have all this money with me now but during processing period (for Italy is about 1 year) I can arrange this amount.

Please guide me.

Hi,
As i have read in similar posts. you can apply initially with the current amount you have in your account and provide explanation as to your later aquisition of the full amount. I think you should be fine as long as you manage to gather the required amount before the their POF request. I hope of the senior members in this forum would address your questions and mine.

Visa officer can not check on its own about the loan from bank but can ask you to explain a sudden large entry in account and source of funds. You should have the answer ready, telling about loan/ borrowed money will not help.

In my view, to keep this money in the banks for more than 3 months and then take statments of three months and at last bank certificate showing that u are holding this money..hope this way it may work.now after 26th June one has to show th POF at the time of application so its better to apply after 3 -4 months and by that time you can prepare yr balance statments..
