**PROOF OF FUNDS** Query

Hey Guys,

My name is Abhishek and am currently doing my Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management (Sept 2019 Intake) (ONE YEAR COURSE)
  • I will be completing my classes on April 17th, 2020 and will be receiving my Graduation/Diploma/Certificate in the first week of May 2020
  • I have created my EE- FSW Profile for Ontario (I have crossed the 67 cut off as well)
  • WES-> Received and IELTS Gen -> 8,7,7,7
  • Currently have a CRS score of 441 (that will move to 489 once I update my profile after I graduate in May 2020)
  • I currently have a Full-Time Job Offer with the NOC CODE (6316) which is skill level B and I am scheduled to start soon
  • I plan on applying for my PGWP (in May 2020 as soon as I receive my final transcript) to work 40 hours full time in this NOC-B job (this I understand is the correct process)
  • My passport is going to expire in Feb 2021 and due to Corona, the BLS office is working at a reduced capacity.
  • Due to this, I might only be able to get a PGWP till Feb 2021
I am a single person who is applying for myself alone, therefore I understand that I need to show $ 12,960 CAD as Proof of Funds.
Had 3 queries,

1) Do I treat my full-time NOC-B job (NON LMIA) offer as a VALID job offer and UPDATE my profile so that my CRS score go up (I wouldn't want to do it if it's not legal/correct)

2) Do I treat my full-time NOC-B job (NON LMIA) offer as a VALID job offer and NOT show the $ 13,000 CAD as Proof of Funds (I do have funds, not close to 13,000 though)

3) If I do not mention my job offer, is my understanding that I HAVE TO SHOW Proof of funds is correct?

Thank you for reading this far and your help!

This is not a very clear process for me at least and would love all the help I can get :)

You need to have an approved LMIA to count what you have as a job offer. What you have right now does not count as a job offer under EE.

You don't need proof of funds once you have a year of full time work experience in Canada and qualify for CEC.
