Proof Of Funds on Landing - Jewellery valuation is accepted?

Upon Landing, Will they accept jewelery worth valuation as proof of funds on landing and do they accept Stocks saving as proof of funds on landing, please advice.

At the time of landing they accept only - Cash in Hand and money in the form of DD/ travellers cheque/ bank statement of Canadian or international bank/some sort of forex card and its bank statement.

No property valuation/ jewellery valuation

Acutally money is required here by new immigrants for initial settlement, nobody will barter for your gold in return for commodities , accomodation, transit etc.
