I am expecting to get ITA from next draw. In the mean time I am preparing my documents. Experts, please advise me what to do in my situation..

Last time SINP accepted my spouse's fund, but CIC clearly mentioned that the principal applicant must provide the proof of funds. In my cases, most of my monies are in my wife's term deposit account which is credited/paid from my savings account. How can I show my wife's fund as my monies?

Secondly, my father-in-law borrowed from me about 17,000 $CAN 2 years back, if he deposit the monies to my account, CIC will accept it? Or how can I prove that he took loan from me and now he paid?

Experts, please advise me urgently. Many thanks.

Hello my friend,

I am in the same situation you mentioned above. My money to proof of funds is two accounts, the first one is my and the second is from my spouse. So, I am not sure if CIC accepts my spouse's account as proof of funds. However, they do not say that I cannot use her account. Have you applied using your spouse account? How is it going?

The money has to be in the accounts of the primary applicant. They have mentioned it clearly on there websites.

U can take money from anyone they will never ask for source of money. It has to be in your account. Think of joint account with your wife.

This is what I am going to follow -

Date: 00-00-0000

To Whom It May Concern:

This is to certify that Mr. XXXXXXX, S/o. XXXXXXX, Address XXXXX is having a fixed deposit for INR XXXXXX [Amount in words only] associated with A/c XXXX and details are given below:

Fixed Deposit Receipt No. Name as on the FDR Amount [INR]

The above mentioned FD was started on [Provide Date] and the FD is due on [Provide Date] [Mention when is the due date]

We confirm that the balance amount in this FDR is INR XXXXX [Amount in words only]; from [Start Date] to [present date].This FDR can be en-cashed immediately on demand by the deposit holder. The above mentioned Fixed Deposit is under auto Renewal Scheme.

This certificate is issued on the specific request if the account holder and at no risk and cost to the issuing officer of the bank.
