Hi,
Iam from India and work in UAE (principal applicant). I had a few queries with respect to PoF required post ITA,
1. Do I have to include Indian bank account/loan details while submitting PoF docs?
2. If yes, then is an official statement from the bank sent to my e-mail sufficient? OR is a signed/stamped bank statement mandatory? (Indian banks are insisting that I visit their branch for a signed/stamped copy of statement, which is difficult under current circumstances).

Thanks

Hi,

1. Do I have to include Indian bank account/loan details while submitting PoF docs? - refer to this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/should-i-include-loans-in-pof-bank-letter-cic-has-mixed-answers.318491/#post-4697515

2. If yes, then is an official statement from the bank sent to my e-mail sufficient? OR is a signed/stamped bank statement mandatory? (Indian banks are insisting that I visit their branch for a signed/stamped copy of statement, which is difficult under current circumstances) - you can authorization letter signed by you to your parents to collect the stamped statement on your behalf and your parents can further scan and send you via email.

Thanks

Thx for the quick response..
[1] I guess the answer is clear, it needs to be included
[2] Are you confirming that stamping is required? My parents are in US right now and are not expected to return before the ITA expires, hence the question..

Stamping of official documents is always recommended! It proves you are genuine and your account is legit.
If you cant get stamped documents then get your bank to right a letter following CIC guidelines outlining your account open date, avg 6motnhly balance etc etc.....

Hello
I am a bit afraid of the following:

I submitted my 6 months bank statement for POF, and its first and last page are signed and stamped. 1st page shows opening balance which is around 6k dollars, and last page has closing balance which is 13k dollars. In between there was a gift I received from mother of 4.5k dollars, I have attached all gift deed and relevant documents. rest of the money is all my salary transfers into my account as shown in the pages b/w the 1st and last page. Should I still get these middle pages signed and stamped? and should i raise CSE? Would raising CSE delay my app?
