Everything is good except statements printed from online banking.ozlis said:What are your thoughts on:
A 'good standing' letter on letter head and signed
A summary of accounts with opening dates and current balances on letter head with stamp
Six months of statements printed from online banking
Another trip to the bank it is then! I was going to save the $10 in printing fees but I guess in the scheme of things its pocket change!Asivad Anac said:Everything is good except statements printed from online banking.

Standing letter ??
CIC doesn't ask for this, no harm in providing this letter.
- is it a letter through which CIC will be able to check our current account balance ?
No.
what my understanding was CIC or any one will not have access to our bank account and they will not be able to call the bank and get the information related to current balance in the account , as banks will not share customers info with anyone
This understanding is correct.
A summary of accounts with opening dates and current balances on letter head with stamp
I guess this can be managed

I got a 12KCAD cheque from my family and I have 3KCAD personal savings in the bank which is intact for over a year.
I'm wondering if I should just deposit the whole 12KCAD to a new bank account then add money to my old personal account every month from that new account.
Or what do you suggest I do? I didn't hire an agent, I'm single applicant. Thanks
I guess better show one account with CIC requirements , if your family is coming to Canada with you
Number of
Family Members Funds Required
(in Canadian dollars)
1 $11,931
2 $14,853
3 $18,260
4 $22,170
5 $25,145
6 $28,359
7 or more $31,574
so better deposit in 1 account and better access ,
