Proof of funds HELP!

I’ll keep it short.

My dad transferred 12500 CAD to my account on 23rd Jan. The account was pretty much empty before that.

•Now should I wait for 6 months (till 23rd July) to proceed with the process?

•Should I get a gift deed made? Can I forego the 6 months thing if I can show a gift deed?

Gift Deed would be fine. I dont think 6 months needed in this case.
