Hi all,
I have applied for Express Entry (FSW). My current PGWP expires in May. I will be applying for extension of my visitor status (visitor visa which will allow me to stay on here after May till a decision is made on my Express Entry application). I have not received any invite to apply for PR yet.
As part of the requirements of the visitor visa, I have to provide letters from banks where I have accounts (list all accounts (chequing and saving, list all outstanding debts etc). This is for people who have already applied for Express Entry. (from the popup that tells about Proof of funds - "If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile.")
As of today, I am short of the required $12,300 required for Express Entry. However, I will receive my final salary in the end of April, with which I will cross the required $12,300 needed as proof of funds for Express Entry. I am assuming the letters from the banks are being asked for to make sure I have the required funds for Express Entry. This is the confusion I have.
So my query is - how should I convey this in my visitor visa application that I will have the required $12,300 at the end of April? (assuming this is why those who have already applied for Express Entry are being asked for such a letter from their bank).
Thanks in advance.
