Hi Everyone,

I am trying to complete my documentation but one serious doubt arose when I read the below description under the documentation checklist.

Express Entry - Permanent Residents

If you are applying for permanent residence in Canada, you must provide an official letter issued by your financial institution indicating your financial profile. This must:

-list of all your bank (chequing and savings) and investment accounts, the account numbers, dates each account was opened and the balance of each account over the past six months, list all outstanding debts, such as credit cards and loans, be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution, and include your name and the contact information of the financial institution (address, telephone number and e-mail address).

Question is - Do I need to declare all my bank accounts? As I earlier understood the proof of one with the required funds should be sufficient to fulfill the requirement.

Or it differs for PR applications? Please help.

Kind Regards
-Gagan

I would only declare account(s) sufficient for the purposes of meeting the Express Entry POF threshold.

Yes that would suffice the needs. No need to mention each and every account.

Hi!

If you have included your partner/ spouse in the application and have mentioned in the application that you have joint-account together, then you will have to declare that account as well...if you are single and / or have not declared regarding spousal account, then I don't think so it is need. Anyways, if there is no issue in declaring other accounts, why no declare?? ::)

rgds,
Problem is I have my one account in UK and two others in India and for each I would need to have a Bank Certificate issued. Which I am planning to as the guidelines do clearly state, one should declare all, was just trying to get some opinions..as i couldnt find a thread mentioning the same situation.

P.S - Thanks a ton to everyone !!!
