Hello.
I am new to this forum.
Need an urgent help. In my eAPR on 14th July 2017 ,for the proof of funds I uploaded a bank balance confirmation letter from the Bank that mentions my current balance (savings account) and my relationship with the bank date from 2011 alomg with other details like account number
I have not uploaded 6 months bank statement,
will it affect the decision?
How do i upload the statements now?

Seniors please suggest a solution.

Thanks.

Hello , Pls help.
I have an FD for 20000 Can$ since last 6 months. Can I use this as proof of funds?
If so what all documents do I need to submit? Will a letter from Bank suffice or do we need FD statement? or both letter and the statement

Correct I have two accounts, in two different banks. Only one account has the sufficient funds required by IRCC. I am transferring money from an account to another, on a regular basis, to make some savings. 6 months ago, the account I want to use for IRCC request/proof of funds, was already above the limit required.
Do you think I need to justify making money transfers to this account, in this case? The amount every month consequently increases with each transfer.. I mean I suspect this is the case for many people.

This should be fine as long as not a huge sum of money going in suddenly

Please check this. Try some workaround, maybe get those funds to one of your family members' account and get that to yours? If possible. :)

For my case is a little unique I would say. I have a joint bank account with my aunt and she is supposed to write a proof of discharge of funds to me.

Yes, no problem at all. (I'm assuming balance in both the accounts add up to the minimum requirement :))
Yea, does!
But the thing is that my mom has recently sent me some money. It is actually because I had helped with my brother's tuition fee, last year. So they have returned the amount and it is nearly double of what was already there in the account.
I don't know how to present that.

Also, does FD and provident fund/mutual fund count as POF?

Hmm I would suggest a simple gift deed because it came from your mom. We can actually explain the whole situation that they are returning the money, but why complicate the situation when it is from family. :)

And yes, yes and yes. FD, PF and Mutual funds count as POF :)
Hope this helps. Cheers :)

Hi Guys I have a bank accont in Chase in the US. They gave me an account summary letter with the average balance for a year (Not signed) and I also have the bank statements. Is this enough as proof of funds ?

Is that an official letter? If so, how did they not sign that?
I'm thinking there is no problem here, but I'm not very sure.
