In terms of one specific template, the answer is no. From what I have read your letter/bank notification needs to detail all your accounts, the amounts in those accounts and the account numbers. You also need to ensure that the letter is on bank letterhead and signed by the bank manager. Unfortunately you need to provide a minimum of 6 months of transaction activity for your bank account. I know you may want to save paper but it's better to over provide information than to under provide.

Ensure the account details are on letterhead and signed by the bank manager. You also need to provide a minimum of 6 months statements.

Hi just one question regarding the statement.
Does CIC want to see your transaction history during 6 months or they want to make sure the funds of let's say 20,000 CAD have been there for those 6 months?

Cause I have always kept my funds cash so now I am worried whether it's going to be an issue if I put that money on my bank account just now.

Good day folks, I am new to this thread.I just want to know if cic does accept the provident found as proof of funds.I do have enough money but I can only access it when I resign, but I can get a statement from the provident (pension )found that I have enough money. Thanks for your replies

I don't think Pension fund is acceptable. It has to be readily available to you, like cash in bank or fixed deposits etc

Thank you for your response, I guess I will have to change my job so that I can cash the funds then start with the process

Guys please advise. I have a deposit account with 10000 USD. There were no transactions on this account. I did not withdraw money.

So my certificate states:

15 December - balance 10000 USD
15 November - balance 10000 USD
15 October - balance 10000 USD
15 September - balance 10000 USD
15 August - balance 10000 USD
15 July - balance 10000 USD

Is it fine for CIC?

Got nominee from OPNP. I have 45 days to send the documents.
But I am only worried about the funds, 16000$, which we have to show in our bank account from last 6 month.
And I don't have sufficient funds in my account right now. I am currently living in Ontario and have job.
What should I do in this situation?
Does this has negative impact on applications?

proof of funds is part of eligibility therefore it might be risk, please avoid taking this kind of risk
Better to take loan and then take balance confirmation instead of complete statement

I am on work permit and currently working in Ontario. Still I need to show the
16000$ balance in my account or not?
Or I just need to show the 6 months bank transaction details?

Hello guys my situation is as follows:

I worked in Canada for 6 months and have enough to cover the minimum $12,000 CAD required. The thing is that when I worked there I was paid to my business account which is not technically under my name but under some Canada Inc. name. I have all my payslips and they do show my name and the business account number.

I kept very little money in my personal account and kept most of it in my business account. When I stopped working, I transferred everything to my personal account and closed the business account but this was less than 6 months ago so my personal account shows a very small balance and then a huge deposit.

I also, transferred the money to a brokerage firm, did a bit of stocks trading and transferred it back into my personal account.

Do you guys think this will be a problem? Recommendations?

Yes it's fine. I need to show 12000 Cad

BTW on which stage the POF is checked? When RPRF comes it means that funds requirements is met?

I have Fixed deposit in my name from last 1 year.

Can anyone please share the format required from the Bank (National Bank in India).

Many Thanks!
