I have a situation. I have funds in cash since a long time. I have deposited that in my account two months back. I am gonna apply for PR after 6 month completion, However, one of my friend informed me that CIC will ask me a question that from where I got the money and they will raise a flag for me bcz I will have to give them a valid source. So I have a question If I am applying in the 7th month will they ask me this question? as the money which I have its my savings for last 5 years. How would I explain them this if in case question is asked? Please help
 
There's no such question. Don't know where your friend heard of that.
If you'll be keeping the money in your bank for 6 months or longer, there shouldn't be a problem.
