Proof of funds clarification

Hello there,

Can you please help me with my query with proof of funds

1. Do I need to have my funds, by the time I create EE profile or is it sufficient to have it ready when I receive ITA.
2. Is there any time duration (4,6 months) that I need to keep the reqeusted amount in bank.

If possible please provide the reference.

You don't need to show proof of funds until after you receive an ITA or a Provincial NOI

The funds are meant to be in your account for 6 months prior, however if you can show that they came from the sale of a car or sale of bonds etc then it can be sooner than that.
