Hi everyone,

I'm currently on a PGWP and have 1.5 years work experience in Canada. I have some doubts regarding my proof of funds for my PR application. This month I enrolled myself as a sole proprietor and working for a big client. The contract length is till 2022. Would I be able my current employment status/contract length as a proof of funds for my application?

If not could I use a gift deed from my parents as a proof of funds?
Any inputs or pointers regarding the same would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. :)

No need to stress Rahulan, because you are applying under CEC, you are not required to provide proof of funds. When you are submitting your forms it probably is requiring you to upload proof of funds. All you have to do is put a document in its place stating that you are applying under the CEC.

Check the link if you have any doubts.
