You can't borrow money for PoF. You will need to show 6 month of bank statement. If some account credits shows up and with little where it comes from, you have some explaining to do.

the employer making you the job offer must have a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment from Employment and Social Development Canada OR
you are currently working in Canada in a NOC 0, A or B job on a work permit that was issued based on a Labour Market Impact Assessment, and
you are working for an employer listed on your work permit,
you are authorized to work in Canada on the day you apply for a permanent resident visa, and when the visa is issued, and
your current employer made you an offer to give you a full-time job if you are accepted as a permanent resident.
In other words, your job offer is valid, whether you are working in Canada or not, if your current or prospective employer:

has made an offer to give you a full-time, permanent, non-seasonal job if you are accepted as a permanent resident,

So if i have full time job with NOC B but no LMIA i am good to show just $2000 ?

Sorry i am just trying to figure this out. Please help

You don't need Proof of Fund if you get ITA under CEC.

If you get ITA under FSW, then only you will need POF. POF requirement: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

And How should i know where i will get ITA. I am in Canada as international student working for MNC with NOC B. I am just kind of confused when they are saying Valid Job Offer.

On Graduate work permit i am working dont have LMIA. Do i need roughly $12000?

urghh...! So much confused

its clear

You dont need POF if you have a job (or a job offer) which has an LMIA

If you dont have an LMIA associated with your job (which you say you haven't) then you need to provide Proof Of Funds.

Valid job offer means LMIA supported job.

It will show you in EE profile under which program you are qualified. It will say something like: CEC: Requirement Met.

Please check minimum requirements for both programs:

CEC: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

FSW: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

That's for those who get ITA under FSW not CEC.

Funds are required if candidate doesn't have LMIA. This applies for FSW or CEC.
If LMIA is issued(click on the link Valid job offer), Candidate need not show funds. Again this applies for FSW or CEC.

That is for skilled Immigrants not for Canadian Experience Class.

Please check minimum requirements for both programs:

CEC: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp (POF is not specifically mentioned as minimum requirement to meet MI)

FSW: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp (POF is specifically mentioned as minimum requirement to meet MI)

I thought we are talking about skilled Immigrants.

Goku, Your first link is for "Skilled trades". I think this applies for CEC's who are in skilled trades.

Which link is of skilled trades ?

Original question was about POF for those applying under CEC. So I went on from there. :)

Btw Canadian Experience class, Federal skilled workers and Skilled trade worker are 3 different program. So what you said " I think this applies for CEC's who are in skilled trades" doesn't make any sense to me.
