Hello,

I have a question regarding the prrof of funds. I have a bank account in USD in America, and another one in GBP in England. Both of my banks say that they can write a letter to me stating the available funds that I have, but they say that in NO way they can state that amount in Canadian dollars!

What is it that i have to do? should I send this letters with my documents with a cover letter stating the exchange rate at the date of the letter and the amount in Canadian dollars written by me in addition to the bank letters?

Hope you can answer with some suggestions.

here's what i did. i took the bank statement from my bank in my local currency. and then went to www.oanda.com, used the currency converter for a conversion of my local currency into canadian dollars, and then took a print out of that webpage showing the currency conversion. while sending the application, i sent that webpage printout (showing the currency conversion) along with my bank statement. hope this helps.

Is it really needed to have your bank state your funds in C$? I didn't when I applied and I had no issues.
