Proof of funds - Bank statement does not have account opening date

Hi,

as the subject states - my bank statement doesn't have account opening date - will this be a deal breaker?

Also, as family of 4, we have to show minimum of $22,856 - am showing $27,000 - is this enough? Or do I have to show more just so that its acceptable?

can u try to get "Bank Certificate" along with Bank Statement for past 6 months?? Bank Certificate normally has date of opening account, type of account, current balance etc

Ask the bank for a letter declaring how long the account has been open. If they refuse to do this then you have the opportunity to write a Letter of Explanation to IRCC showing that you have made efforts and that you haven't been able to do this.

Your funds are sufficient for immigration purposes, you just need the letter from the bank
