Proof of Funds - Bank Letter or 6 Month Statments

For POF,
Providing a letter from bank with all the details on the bank letter head is enough?
or
Do we need to submit previous 6 month statements also?.

not mandatory but preferably both. as the statements it shows the transactions that have taken place over 6 months. better to give CiC more documents than less.

Both will be better. The statement helps IRCC to track if any Massive fund entered the account or not.
