Proof of funds as gift from joint account

1.Does anyone have any experience of gift from joint account. Is it okay if parents gift from joint account.
2.What is the list of docs needed by CIC needs if gift was made by cheque?

1 - It's fine.
2 - There is no "list" but only a recommendation to include anything that shows that the transfer was made (cheque, bank statements)

My parents are gifting me some money from their joint account. I have already had a gift deed created from my mother. Is that good or does the gift deed need to be from both parents?
