Hi! I just got a ITA in today's draw. I am very worried about the proof of funds and was wondering if someone could help me. I have the money in a Bank Account to provide proof of funds. Nevertheless, some of these funds are new. I am going to apply in March so the rest of the funds will only be two months old. I was thinking of attaching a Notary Certification that explains where these funds come from. Will this help? Is it possible to get rejected because the funds are new? Thank you!

Hi! I just got a ITA in today's draw. I am very worried about the proof of funds and was wondering if someone could help me. I have 11.000 USD in a Bank Account to provide proof of funds. Nevertheless, some of these funds are new (average balance for December was around 7000 USD). I am going to apply in March so the rest of the funds will only be two months old. I was thinking of attaching a Notary Certification that explains where these funds come from (salary, Christmas bonus, sell of camera equipment and money I had previously loaned to someone else who payed it back). Will this help? Is it possible to get rejected because the funds are new? Thank you!
Possibly as you need to show the funds over a 6 month period. It is your liquid funds in bank/investment accounts. Assume it is just you.

Thanks! Yes, it's just me. In that case will certifying the source of the funds and showing they are not loaned and are legally acquired make up for the lack of time?
You must show the 6 month balance and maintain during the process. Whether IRCC accepts the fact you ddn’t maintain funds for last 6 months will only be determined as your application is reviewed. Don’t go below the POF during the PR process.
