Dear all,

I hope you are doing well. I need your assistance in the matter related to proof of funding when applying for the study visa. I got the acceptance letter from Concordia University for PhD program in Information and Systems Engineering. During the program, the Professor funds me with 35k in the first 2 years and 22k in the third through his grant. Moreover, my fee status is equal to Quebec nationals which is about 6k. Do I still need to show a bank statement while applying for the study visa?

I think if you provide financial statements with good funds, that would strengthen your profile even more, and would increase your chances of getting visa.

I was rejected the first time I applied in 2023 with just professor fund (around 44K for school fees and substinence), I added proof of funds from a family member saying he would help. Better be safe, add as much proofs of fund as you can.
