A quick question. We are 3 people (2 adults and an infant - 11 months old currently). This counts as 3 or as 2 people? Sorry if it is a stupid question, just to make sure that the infant is indeed to be counted towards the POF

YES YES YES

Ok thank you ! 3 people it is!

But the annoy part is - he will probably get away with it.

I really don't understand why CIC don't INSIST you provide 12 months history (statements, receipts etc) for the money you are using for proof of funds. It would help to ween out the fraudsters right from the CIO stage and help reduce the burden at visa offices having to process fraudulent apps.

Dear friend

First place u can’t take care loan without buying the car, as the bank pays the money directly to the car company /seller

So ur interpretation is not right

I had to give a closed statement because my consultant said the bank statement should not show any loan , at that time this was only way out

If they ask me now i will declare everything I have

my friend is ready to apply, he sell his property and got the required funds , but he has only 6 days bank statement , can he apply

Even if what you say is true, your funds are not unencumbered by debt, so you are still not eligible to apply - unless your funds exceed your loan by the amount of the minimum settlement funds required.

If it is all legitimate why deliberately hide it from CIC? It's cheating, whichever way you slice it.

Then my apologies, as I said, if I misunderstood you.

But why try to conceal things from CIC? If you had adequate funding even without the loan, what was the problem in providing the bank statements? A simple explanation that the loan was to buy a car and should have sufficed, especially since you've said you had adequate funding without this loan.

Now if CIC ask for bank statements and they see the large amount, it will require explaining and it would have looked better to show and explain this with the initial application, rather than having to explain it to them after the fact.

And why would you need a new bank account or fixed deposit, what's wrong with using the account your money is currently in?

hi..i have almost a smiliar situation..but i have provided my bank statement from a pakistani bank..and my spouse who is my depedent has taken a loan from uk bank...in this case do we have to tell chc about my husbands loan or my bank statement should be fine..plz respond soon..thnx!

hi guys...
I have sent my application to CIC sydney on 19th sept...and same was received by them on 26th sept 2011.....
now I have some query regarding POF....
actually I have declared my properties as a proof funds and few fixed depisits....
I have declared a property of worth C$205000 and out of this I have took C$90000 as a loan from bank for these properties...which I have clearly stated in application form...
I have also included original valuation certificates of these properties....
along with this I have included C$3000 fixed deposit certificates.....

so guys my question is whether these assets will be counted as a proof of fund?asking because major amount is in a form of property and not cash....
please suggest.

Thx.
