I was refused study visa base on proof of fund and information given in my application not consistent.
Note: I paid one year tuition fee and also have CAD30,000 for living expenses for me and my daughter.

What should I do to tackle this refusal?

How long is the program? How old is your daughter?

Two years course. My daughter is 9 years old.

My course Is global business management. I studied plant science in my undergraduate and I have been working in management field for the past 6 years. I am currently working with an auto company as a procurement manager.

I don't know if my background can also make the visa officer refuse refuse my visa. Thank you.

So were reasons for refusal funds or something else? How are you going to pay for second year tuition and two years of living expenses? Your daughter is 9 so what kind of care will she have before and after school, plus care if you work? You need to factor in those costs for care.

O

Okay I understand better now. Thank you so much.

I have an investment that will be liquidated by March 2024.

I only presented one year living expenses for me and my daughter.
Can I explain to the visa officer that I will enrol my daughter in an elementary public school when we get to Canada and that I have my one year living expenses in my account and that my investment of 18million naira will be liquidated in 2024 March which I will use to take care of my second year tuition fee and also for living expenses.
Thank you so much for guiding me on my reapplication.

My refusal was base on insufficient fund and the visa officer have concern that fund might not be available to me.

So how much is the rest of your program plus living and daycare expenses? With a child, you would really not be able to work if you don’t pay for child care.

CAD 37k including living expenses. My daughter is 9 years old and I was told she will attend public school free of charge because international student children are eligible for free tuition fee in public schools.

But if you are in school or working then who is taking care of her before and after school and on weekends/evenings. That is not free. $37k is not enough for two people to live on after paying first year tuition.

Okay. I will work on my proof of fund.
Thank you so much

I think you also need to make a good connection between your work or training, with what you want to study. The two do not seem to line up well.

I presently work as a procurement manager and my course of study In Canada is Global business management
