not really..i am working in canada and was thinking to apply under FSW..but some people in the forum as well as some lawyers asked me to show proper funds before i apply. Now i am re considering their point and will apply under CECConor9900 said:FSW candidates also do not need proof of funds if they are already working in Canada
Proof of funds
You must show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family after you arrive in Canada, unless you:
are currently able to legally work in Canada, and
have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada.

If job is based out of LMIA, minimum proof of funds isn't required although you are applying under fsw. I have show 13k instead of 18k. My file got processed successfully.sensay said:not really..i am working in canada and was thinking to apply under FSW..but some people in the forum as well as some lawyers asked me to show proper funds before i apply. I guess they are telling so in order to be on a safer side. It makes no sense of getting ITA and then getting rejected just because you have not enough funds to show. I hope they meant that in case CIC checks your funds you should be fine with that too. Even i had shown that point to the other members when i was told such..but the reply was "the system is pretty new so no one knows exactly what will happen so it better that you have sufficient funds"Conor9900 said:Well that quote and link is from the CIC website. So it doesn't matter what your lawyers or other posters in this forum are telling you: if it contradicts what CIC have posted on their website in pretty clear terms, they are wrong
If you have an LMIA AND are already working in Canada legally. Also if you were invited under CEC.tomts143 said:Hi seby25,
