Hi All,
I am planning to apply under express entry, Federal skilled workers. My concern is about the proof of funds. I currently live in Canada, but don't have 15000 in my account. My sister is planning to gift money and with a notarized gift deed. Would that be OK with a letter from the bank, even if my six-months poof of fund is not the amount they need?

Whoever has experience with the subject, please inform me.

Do I need a letter from the bank with the average of six months with the gift deed (letter)?

Yes, for express entry a bank letter is a requirement. You're additionally attaching the gift deed just to prove that the money didn't fall into your account from the sky because bank letter won't explain the source of funds. It only certifies the total funds and the average balance.
