Proof of fund for Canada Student Visa

Hi all
I am writing this post regarding my proof of fund for Canadian study permit. I already have 2 refusals because of poor guidance of my previous agent. I am planning to apply for visa again in end of this year. ( my ielts will get expired 16th Jan 2022) I have made a FD worth around 30000 CAD in bank. I want to knw under Non sds catagrory can I show 4 months of Fixed deposit as proof of fund, do we still need to show the source of fund for this, I have added my savings money + a cheque which I received from goverment ( supplied grocery items during this pandemic under goverment order) so I took that cheque as a scanned doc. Is it enough? Please clarify this

Maybe but funds are most likely only one issue as you have two refusals. Do you address the reasons from the first two refusals and strengthen your application. Funds depend on cost of program. Pay first year tuition and then how much do you have.

But in my both refusal, I didn't recieve reason about finance, Also for my previous application my agent has showed money as a third party and I also showed around 14000 CAD in my savings account. I got my 2nd refusal on 30th Dec, 2020. This time I have changed my program and college. Also made a Fixed deposit worth around 31000 CAD. yes i have paid my first year fees as well.


My question is I am planning to apply for visa when my fund get matured 4 months ( end of November) so do I need to show the source of fund for this? That how this money came to my account.

So what did your GCMS notes say for reasons for refusal if funds were not the issue. Yes, you can apply when funds have been there for 4 months.

In my gcms note they say that I have poor Academic results in my secondary school. Also I'm have 7 members in my family. I showed them my mom as my sponsor. So they said that my mom can't take care of all of our family members with my education expenses ( but my siblings all are have their own occupation)

The another reason was course irrelevant, my agent has applied for a bachelors program, ( but I already have advanced diploma in same field) so in gcms note they mentioned that i have work experience and academic qualification in same field so going for bachoer is not reasonable.

In my first refusal I got 4 refusal reasons
In my second refusal I got 2 refusal reasons

Both time I got these reasons
Purpose of visit
And course irrelavant

Showing source of funds is always important.

So what program are you applying to if you have advanced diploma and poor marks.

I will attach that transcript also to my next application to justify my poor academic records in my secondary school. So you need to show career advancement. How will spending thousand increase your salary in your home country and give you a better job if you have just graduated.

Yes, I will show that in my SOP. My plan was starting up a resort in future. Currently we have 2 restaurants, I am working as a restaurant manager there.

So if you have two restaurants, how can you leave and take a course? If starting up a resort, should you not be doing a MBA and not a PG diploma.

Hi dear
I don't have knowledge in house keeping and front office side, also I don't have experience in a International hotel chain that's why decided to go for this PG dip with the Co op option. Actually our restaurant is a family business, belongs to my brother recently he made me as one of partner of his business, so he will take care our business untill I finish my studies.
