[size=10pt]I am helping my Chinese step-daughter to study here in Canada. She is 17 years old. Got a score of 93 on the TOEFL and a 92 average in her Grade 12. She has been accepted at Dalhousie University into the BA Program. Her plans are to return to China to teach. Strong family ties to China with her mother, sister and grandparents all living there..
As she is applying from China, what form of proof of finances should I provide to show that her parents (mother and I) have enough? While she is here I will pay all her living expenses and her mother and I will cover her tuition. Right now her mother has not yet applied for PR immigration so, officially, she will plan to return to China upon completion of her studies.
Should I write a letter of introduction to her stating my finances and commitment so she can include this in her application?
Officially also, I have signed the form to be her "Custodian" for the first year.
P.S. What chances of success for a Study Permit/Visa do you think she has ?
