Well, the situation is like this.

I am principle applicant and my spouse has her aunt (blood relation, i mean sister of her mother) in Canada. Her aunt also skilled migrant and got her PR. I suppose to declare her as our close relative and had her all necessary documents. But the problem is, when she applied for her immigration, she doesn't declare my spouse's mother (my mother-in-law) as her sister or accidentally missing her name. Now, what she (i mean aunt) can do to correct her mistake ? If we apply, there will be in problem in her residency status ? Or can we claim the point based on her ?

I need urgent advice please.

If you can prove relationship through documents, you will still get points.
Some people don,t include deceased siblings and if son or daughter of that sibling want to get adaptability points, then wht shall visa office do? You will get points if you can prove.

Thank you S.K. and deep117 for important comment.

Yes, we can prove the relationship. I hope following documents will be enough.

01. PR Card
02. Birth Certificate of my spouse aunt
03. Birth certificate of my mother-in-law
04. Birth Certificate of my spouse
05. My marriage certificate

Valuable more inputs will be appreciated.

these are good enough to prove your relationship with your canadian relative. but you also need to provide proof that your canadian relative is currently residing in canada. e.g. the bank statement of your aunt showing spending in canada from the last few months, the utility bills of your aunt in canada, or if she is working, documents proving her current employment in canada etc.
