Proof of common law relationship status

Hi All,

I am applying to London after getting an initial ok from Sydney. Nowhere on form E37023, the London checklist (or anywhere else), does it seem to ask for proof of our relationship. I do not want to delay my application. We do not have a joint bank account, but have been cohabiting since 2003. We have documentary evidence, like photos etc. which can be dated. I am presuming we will have to provide evidence even if it has not been asked for now, so I would like to include it with all my documentation.

If this document required you can create an affidivit thru your local court which is legal document if this common law relation is legally recognized in your jurisdictions, photo will not help at all.

Ok, I can probably get that sorted no problem. My quandary now comes from the fact that no evidence has been asked for, as far as I am aware.

May I ask if you have any children? I think If you have children you do not need evidence.

May I ask if you have any children? I think If you have children you do not need evidence.

You need evidence of cohabitation for a period of at least one year (or is it three?). Having a child in common does not necessarily establish a common law relationship, although it may be one thing to be taken into consideration among others.
