Hello everyone, just a few questions again
I’m planning to sponsor my husband in the next few months through inland sponsorship(PA have valid TRV until 2022), I know in the checklist we have to show proof that we have the same address. We haven’t really lived together except for when we go visit each other. Would we be able to apply as soon as we have all the required requirements such as a joint bank acc in Canada, get a lease with both of our names, etc. We’re only missing the proof of same address in our requirements) Or should we wait a few months before we submit our application?

and also, what are the examples of proof of same address that we could provide?

Proof of the same address can include a lease signed by you both, electricity bill, internet bill.

Would it be legal to get a lease from my parents as we are going to live with them for a while
Hmm this is the first time I hear that. I don't think you can do that. You could just explain in a letter that you live with your parents.

Though he has a trv valid through to 2022, his stay can only last 6 months from the time of entry. Keep this in mind as legal status is required in order to apply for an owp. If you are approaching the 6 months and you still havent submitted thebapplication for annowp which gives you implied status, you will need to submit an application to extend his stay. Also a good idea to extend should the application be returned for any reason
