My children certificate mailed to me in this months, I am whiting for the mail ,Application completed,130 days from applied in Canada because I am living in Canada.

I received the application back for my daughter stating it was incomplete. "You have not submitted 2 identification documents for the child" "You have not submitted an identification document with the child's picture on it". As I stated before a photo ID for her doesn't exist and I have no way of getting one right now, it was a struggle enough to get the photos done for the application. Others stated they sent their own two photo ID's in, which I did, I sent my bc, passport, dl and my daughters passport. I can't even find a way to contact anyone for questions pertaining to my situation. It's very frustrating, any suggestions?

Ok I have to ask, I applied for my own proof in 2014, I was able to log in quickly to see the status and everything. I also sponsored my family to move to Canada, no issues logging on. Applied for my sons grant of citizenship after we moved here, bam everything went well. Now, I'm helping my sister with her proof of citizenship application and today the AOR arrived, but none of the numbers are making sense. The client ID is one letter and 12 numbers P############ and the receipt number, which I'm assuming I use as the client ID is 8 numbers, with no hyphen #######.

What did your numbers look like on the AOR? When I attempt to login, there isn't anything, yet.

Thanks!

If you're outside of Canada, use the back door to get in touch with Immigration. Call Global Affairs Canada at 613-944-4000, follow all the prompts to get through to Immigration.

I just read your original post, you will have to take the time to go down to the USA and with the father, go to the passport office together and sign for your 3 yr old to have an American passport. There is no other way in the USA for a 3 yr old to have a photo ID.

It also seems CIC now requires the photo ID for kids too. They may have accepted parents ID in the past, but I think they're tightening the reigns with that, all because every child, including babies, can have a passport. They probably don't realize how hard it is for an American child to get a passport, especially with one parent living abroad, or in a split home.

Thanks for your reply, that's isn't possible though. I've already paid for a passport for her but her mother and family won't give me access to it to makes copy...
