Hello everyone,
For CEC application, I have few questions about my working experience inside and outside Canada.
I had 4 years of working experience as an executive assistant in the universities in my home country before I came to Canada. I would say part of my responsibilities overlapped with the duties of the job title (code 1222/1241). However, my former office never mentioned my duties in detail in my employment letter. I only got my reference letter from one of my former bosses.
Then I spent 2 years to complete my master program in Quebec as a student permit holder. After my graduation, I moved to Toronto and got 1 temp job for 2 months, and working with a full time job (code 1253) afterwards for 1 year until now.
Now I decided to apply with my qualification obtained in QC and 1 year of working experience (Type B) in ON.
Q1) I am not sure if I have to provide the proofs of all jobs that I had, before and after coming to Canada.I am thinking putting all of them into my employment history. I am not certain about whatever the previous jobs in my home country can be counted as 1222/1241, should I avoid mentioning them in my CEC application? I can go ask my previous employees in my home country to provide me with a letter with my main duties but I am not sure they still retained the records as that was already 7 years ago. Even they are willing to provide me with the proof, the duties may not 100% match with 1222/1241. Should I take this risk? Does it affect my score of my CEC application, if CIC does not think they are matched?
Q2) And, do I also have to get a proof from my former employee of the temp job I got in Toronto?
Thank you everyone for your thoughts. Any help would be appreciated !
