I guess that CIC is absolutely capabale of prompt apdating and this is that thay actually do. But - they can only give information on applications which have already been opened and processes. As to tons of envelopes which are currently dumped in mail rooms or elsewhere waiting to be opened - CIO cannot provide any information on them as they basically have no clue what is inside.
