Dear Concern,

Good Day.....This is Ferdous from Bangladesh.

I need some suggestions from you. I want to go to Canada with the express entry program. I am a pharmacist and working in a multinational pharmaceutical company as a senior portfolio executive in marketing department. I am working in this sector for 6 years. I have completed my bachelor and Masters l in pharmacy from a private university and MBA from Dhaka University in Finance. I have completed my IELTS (score 6) and ECA from WES.

My wife is also from pharmacy and she has the same profile like me except two things: firstly, she is working in a local company but in the same marketing department and as a senior executive post for 6 yrs. Secondly, she didn't do the MBA, but have Bachelor and Masters in pharmacy. And her IELTS score is 6.5 and completed her ECA.

We have tried to create profile by ourselves. After successfullly complete all segment, unfortunately it shown that we are not eligible. Here I would like to inform that, we don't have any relative in Canada and as usual don't have any job offer. I applied for NOC 0124 that lies for sales and marketing manager. I didn't create my job pool. I am a bit surprised because when I went to the agent they said I am quite good candidate and will have a good CRS marks.

I am confused whether I did any mistakes or not. Can anyone please help me in this regard.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Ferdous

Check this thread for more information as to why your profile would have become ineligible http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/ee-profile-ineligible-t263457.0.html

Before getting to the stage of working out CRS score, you need to score 67/100 in the factors on the following page:

http ://www.cic.gc.ca /english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

From what I can work out from what you've posted, your points are as follows:

English ability: 16 (CLB 7)
Education : 23
Experience: 15
Adaptability: 5 (your spouse has CLB 4+ English)

That gets you to 59 points. The remaining points you can get from your age. You need 8 more points, so as long as you are younger than 39 then you should meet the 67 points requirement. If you are 40 or over, you could try sitting IELTS again to get a higher score.

You will also need to have sufficient funds for you to live in Canada without a job offer. For yourself and your spouse alone you'd need $15,143 - more if you have kids coming with you.

I should also add that your IELTS needs to be 6+ in each module. If you have 5.5 or below in any module you will need to resit it.
