Hello

My profile was eligible till yesterday but while making some changes in my profile and transmitting them I have put wrong name in the signature by mistake.
After that I got message that my profile is ineligible

Please guide for further steps
Should I create new profile and if yes what should I answer if they ask me whether I have applied before or not?

Create a new profile and for that question answer NO.

Your age could be the problem, check your score under the six selection factors for FSW.

Has your IELTS expired? It expires after 2 years.

This happened to me, I updated my profile and it went in to an ineligible state.

I realised that my IELTS had expired and I had to re-take it.

One more thing to check would be the "FUNDS" which you Intend to carry to Canada. that needs to be equal to or more than the LICO.

Hello Guys,

Our profile was ineligible as well.

I wonder if I as spouse should have an English Test and WES as well? or those are not mandatory for spouse?

Another doubt is, my wife now is working under NOC A, should her meet the minimum English test criteria for this NOC ? ( CLB 7 in each band)?

Hi Virendra,
You can create a new profile and you would put 'No' you have not applied before. Express Entry profiles are not applications; they're 'expressions of interest'. The application part doesn't come until after you've received an ITA and submit the eAPR (electronic application for permanent residency).

Please see below for some common reasons for profile ineligibility; maybe it can be of additional assistance.

Common Reasons for Express Entry Profile Ineligibility
This guide is only relevant to persons who expect to be eligible under the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) programmes, NOT the Federal Skilled Trades (FST) programme

Intended Destination/Province
  • You indicated Quebec as your intended destination/province
FSW Eligibility Points
Education
  • If you’re applying under the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) programme AND your educational credential(s) are foreign (i.e. not completed in Canada)…

    • you indicated your Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is older than 5 years old
Proof of Funds
  • If you’re applying under the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) programme, AND don’t have VALID arranged employment in Canada (check here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/offer.asp)
    • you did not indicate enough settlement funds to qualify (a single applicant, currently, has to show they CAD$12,300 or more for settlement purposes; if you have dependents (accompanying or not), you need to show more, depending on how many dependents you have)
Work Experience
  • If you’re applying under either the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) or the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) programmes…
    • your primary NOC Code is not Skill Type/Level 0, A or B
  • If you’re applying under the Federal Skilled Workers (FSW) programme, you do not have…

    • that was continuous (it doesn’t have not interrupted by employment breaks other than normal vacation / sick/ personal leave, etc.)
    • that was paid
    • under your primary NOC Code (which must be Skill Type/Level 0, A or B)
    • within the last ten (10) years
  • If you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) programme, you do not have…

  • If you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) programme…
